Job description

Synchron has an exciting opportunity for an Information Technology (IT) Program Manager to support our Assistant Chief Information Officer (ACIO) clients at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. This person will be the on-site point person for the Government and must be able to negotiate with the customer to help them set IT and Cybersecurity priorities for the ACIO Team. This position will require outreach activities to motivate the ACIO team, push out important information to Government IT users, and support the rest of the ACIO's team.

Must be able to execute quickly and manage customer expectations. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, energetic leadership style, and big picture perspective. Responsibilities: * Provide support as the in-person onsite manager to coordinate efforts across the contractor team, emphasize standardizing processes, cross-train personnel to allow for elimination of single points of failure, and provide proactive escalation and communication to Government customer; ensure coverage of all assigned duties, establish regularly occurring and clear communications between the contract staff and government team members.

* Coordinate IT Services for the TEAM SUB Enterprise (includes over a thousand personnel): * For users entering, transferring within, and exiting the TEAM SUB Enterprise, the Contractor shall perform all actions to maintain the readiness and availability of effective information technology resources, including ordering and validating delivery and functionality of assets, configuring and testing hardware and software, granting permissions and group memberships to enable appropriate access to data, providing access to appropriate local directories, activating and validating ports, registering Common Access Cards (CACs), and recording asset and configuration inventories. * Asset inventories for over a thousand classified and unclassified machines along with associated software, peripheral equipment, aircards, and wireless devices. * Assist TEAM SUB personnel by ensuring the availability of information technology tools and associated services provided through NMCI, TEAM SUB Enterprise Tools, and direct program applications.

* Assist TEAM SUB personnel through familiarization, training and direct assistance with work products regarding capabilities of existing tools as well as new versions as updates and changes are deployed. * Assist the TEAM SUB ACIO in performing the activities required within the DoD Instruction 8510.01 DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) to obtain Authorization to Operate (ATO). * Develop RMF accreditation packages using current DoD Instruction.

Education and Experience: * Minimum 10 years experience with Information Technology support. * Minimum 3 years supervisory experience leading a team of IT professionals. * Minimum 2 years experience working with Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and/or Flank Speed * Experience providing training to groups of people.

* Experience with enterprise software - i.e. SharePoint, MicroSoft Office 365, Teams, etc * Active DoD Secret Clearance. Desired Education and Experience: * Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or Computer Science * Experience with NAVSEA / Washington Navy Yard * DoD 8570.01m IAT level II certificate and/or relevant certificates or equivalent Work Location: Washington Navy Yard.
