Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Legacy High School Teacher to inspire and guide high school students through their academic journey. This role involves delivering engaging lessons across various subjects, supporting diverse learning styles, and fostering a positive classroom environment. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for education, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student success.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and educational regulations.
  • Deliver instruction in core subjects such as Math (including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus), Literacy Education, Creative Writing, and Physical Education.
  • Utilize educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences and adapt lessons for different learning styles.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting a respectful and inclusive environment for students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and project-based evaluations; provide timely feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional modifications, and best practices for working with students with special education needs.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior; participate in parent-teacher conferences.
  • Mentor students academically and personally, fostering growth in confidence, critical thinking, and social skills.

Qualifications
