  • 4 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 1 year with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.

Preferred qualifications:

You'll advise on financial reports required by governmental regulations, and review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports. You'll lead an accounting process from end-to-end. Other responsibilities include reconciling balance sheets and P&L accounts, and providing supplementary financial information for internal and external reports.
As a member of the Google Fixed Assets (gFA) team, you will find ways to manage the set of transactions. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-$151,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Perform month end close tasks, this includes management of asset creation and retirement processes, provide commentary for flux analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis, book journal entries for your related process, and partner with business for new process/product implementations.
  • Prepare and present financial information to different audiences, including finance leaders, business partners, auditors and regional accountants.
  • Support system implementations as a subject matter expert in fixed assets.
  • Support SOX controls, run processes according to risk assessment and control frameworks and escalate when risks are detected.
  • Improve gFA processes to drive quality standards in the fixed assets register, reconciliations, and reporting produced for local audits and close reporting.
