WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Press Operator / Sheet Metal Technician, you'll be responsible for forming and fabricating precision components used in aerospace and defense applications.
You will:
  • Interpret sketches, routings, and product specifications to determine part requirements and manufacturing sequence
  • Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including shears, press brakes, forming presses, rolls, expanders, sandblasters, and hand grinders
  • Form, bend, cut, and straighten sheet metal to meet dimensional and quality requirements
  • Perform final deburring and finishing operations on completed parts and assemblies
  • Assemble components into supporting frameworks per drawings and specifications
  • Repair and rework sheet metal assemblies as needed, including disassembly and re-fit
  • Verify dimensional accuracy using measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers, and Pi tapes
  • Work closely with teammates and support functions to produce high-quality parts you're proud to put your name on
  • Follow safety, quality, and documentation requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment

WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:
  • High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related sheet metal or fabrication experience
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and routings
  • Strong attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and a safety-first mindset
