Job description

Summary:
The Intern position is a temporary position. The position is designed to utilize the intern on various special projects outlined by the Workforce Community Development Specialist and the Assigned Department Leader. The Intern may, at the discretion of the Department leader, participate in regular department meetings, assist with tasks, data analysis, preparation of presentations and other special project duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM):
EDUCATION
  • Required to be enrolled in a Higher Education Degree Program that aligns with the designated department, Pharmacy
EXPERIENCE
  • Healthcare Knowledge preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with demands and time schedules
  • Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint applications

WORKING CONDITIONS:
ENVIRONMENT
  • Normal heat, light space, and safe working environment; typical of most office jobs
  • Occasional exposure to one or more mildly unpleasant physical conditions
