Job description

Staff Physical Therapist Assistant

The staff Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible administering physical therapy modalities of treatment under the plan of care of a licensed Physical Therapist. This is performed to assist each patient to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.

Education: A high school diploma or GED; Graduate of an accredited college or university with an Associate, Bachelor, or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy or a Physical Therapist Assistant program

Experience: Experience in physical therapy preferred

Licenses/Certificates: Current license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Alabama required. Current BCLS required
