Description

The Police Accreditation and Compliance Specialist ensures departmental adherence to official policies, directives, and accreditation standards through regular inspections and audits of all police operations.

Requirements
  • Strong foundational knowledge of police operations, policies, and accreditation requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience writing technical records or official documentation.
  • Solid computer skills, including office software and standard equipment.
  • Familiarity or proficiency with PowerDMS document management software.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in police operations and the accreditation process.
  • Any work-related experience resulting in acceptable proficiency levels in the minimum qualifications is an acceptable substitute for specified education and experience requirements.
