Job description

The Accounts Receivable Representative plays a critical role in managing the invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation activities within a small accounts receivable team. Reporting to the Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor, this position ensures accurate and timely customer communication, dispute resolution, and maintenance of financial records using ERP and accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, and QuickBooks. This role offers opportunities for growth into senior accounts receivable positions.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and send accurate invoices to customers
  • Process customer payments and apply them to appropriate accounts
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding account status and payment issues
  • Enter and maintain data in accounting software systems
  • Conduct collections activities to resolve past-due accounts
  • Prepare detailed reports on accounts receivable status
