Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to support daily accounting operations. This role is responsible for invoicing, payment processing, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate has strong QuickBooks experience and is comfortable working with a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment while also supporting basic office operations.

Key Responsibilities


Accounts Receivable:

  • Generate and send customer invoices
  • Apply incoming payments accurately to customer accounts
  • Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections follow-up

Accounts Payable:

  • Enter vendor bills into QuickBooks
  • Process payments and apply them to invoices
  • Maintain organized and accurate vendor records

Additional Duties:

  • Enter and reconcile credit card transactions
  • Perform inventory-related data entry as needed
  • Assist with account reconciliations
  • Order, track, and maintain office supplies inventory
  • Ensure office supplies are stocked and organized
  • Support general accounting and administrative functions as needed
Requirements:



Required:

  • 2+ years of AP/AR or bookkeeping experience
  • Strong QuickBooks experience (required)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred:

  • Experience with Fishbowl or other inventory management systems
  • Experience in a transaction-heavy environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
