Job description

Owner operators must have trucks that are 2020 or newer to qualify. Compensation is based on a percentage of the load, with a rate of 75% for those who only have a truck or tractor. If an operator provides a trailer, the percentage increases to 82%, as the company covers the insurance costs for reefer trailers. Additionally, drivers benefit from a fuel discount of $0.20 per gallon, which is reimbursed in their settlements. The average pay per load is approximately $2,200, with mileage rates ranging from $2.75 to $3.50 per mile, and each load typically covers 800 to 1,000 miles.

An optional maintenance account is available for owner operators, allowing them to set aside funds for repairs. The company will handle repair costs, which will be deducted from this account. Should repair expenses exceed the account balance, a payment plan can be established. It is important to note that the company is not obligated to provide financial credit for repairs, and any costs covered by the company will be charged back within the pay period. Documentation from the maintenance provider is required, regardless of where the repairs are conducted.
