Job description

Title: Digital Accounts Manager

Status: Full-time

Hours: 40/week, Monday - Friday, 9 am-6 pm

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Reports to: Senior Digital Accounts Manager

Company Summary: Secretly Distribution is a curated distribution company working globally with premiere independent labels and artists. We are headquartered in Bloomington, IN, with offices in Brooklyn, Chicago, London, and Los Angeles and additional staff in Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, and beyond. We work every day to support great art with transparency, creativity, expertise, and hard work.

Position Summary: Secretly Distribution seeks a Los Angeles-based Digital Accounts Manager to lead strategy, pitching, and relationship management for a portfolio of key digital service partners, with a focus on platforms and opportunities that benefit from an in-person, West Coast presence. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for Apple Music and YouTube Music and will own a defined set of Spotify marketing programs while partnering closely with our Bloomington and New York based teams. The role extends to other platforms as needs evolve, including but not limited to Vevo, Pandora, TIDAL, SoundCloud, and emerging platforms.

This position works cross-functionally with our New York-based Digital Accounts Manager and Coordinators, internal digital operations teams, and distributed label and artist partners. This is a full-time position based in our Los Angeles office.

The Digital Accounts Manager reports to senior digital leadership and plays a critical role in shaping platform strategy, advocating for our distributed labels, and identifying new opportunities across streaming, video, and experiential platforms, with particular attention to the relationships, meetings, and events that are only accessible in person on the West Coast.

Responsibilities:

  • Own strategic relationships with Apple Music and YouTube Music; lead pitching, planning, and escalation while aligning releases to platform priorities, editorial opportunities, and marketing initiatives.
  • Serve as the Los Angeles-based point of contact for a defined set of Spotify marketing programs, including Paid advertising, managing Free Tier Ads, Homepage Takeovers, reporting, and other opportunities, working collaboratively and collectively across the broader digital accounts team.
  • Represent the company at in-person label, artist, and DSP events on the West Coast, including playbacks and dedicated meetings.
  • Oversee weekly pitching across streaming and video platforms within your portfolio, providing strategic direction on editorial submissions, artist narratives, and campaign framing.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to distributed labels and artist teams on DSP positioning, scheduling, rollout planning, and platform-specific best practices, with expertise in West Coast market dynamics.
  • Translate DSP insights, performance trends, and platform updates into actionable guidance and higher-level reporting for partners.
  • Partner closely with the Digital Accounts Coordinator team on workflow, prioritization, and execution support across your accounts.
  • Stay informed on platform updates, emerging DSPs, and evolving trends across streaming, video, and social media, proactively identifying new opportunities and sharing key developments with partners.

The Ideal Candidate Demonstrates:

  • 3+ years’ experience at a label, distributor, DSP, or artist management company in digital accounts, streaming, platform partnerships, or digital marketing.
  • Proven experience owning DSP relationships and pitching campaigns, ideally including Apple Music and/or YouTube Music.
  • Existing relationships with, or the demonstrated ability to quickly build relationships with, Los Angeles-based teams at major DSPs.
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with the ability to execute operationally across multiple concurrent campaigns.
  • Comfort navigating analytics and platform tools across Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, and related ecosystems, with the ability to translate data into compelling, persuasive campaign narratives.
  • Willingness and ability to attend in-person industry events, artist meetings, and DSP visits across the Los Angeles area on a regular basis.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of organization, attention to detail, and time management.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, manage competing deadlines, and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment, including close coordination with team members across time zones.
  • A genuine passion for music discovery across genres and formats.
  • Interest in and knowledge of Secretly Distribution's catalog and distributed partners.

SG Services, Inc. Benefits:

  • Paid holidays including end of the year closure
  • Paid Time Off policy, which includes a separate Sick Days bank
  • 401K with corporate matching
  • 12 weeks for parental leave after birth or adoption paid at 100% of salary
  • Commuter Benefit
  • Volunteer Hours Matching Policy
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Medical Health insurance covered at 100% for employee-only medical premiums
  • Dental & Vision insurance

Salary: $60,000
