JOB OVERVIEW
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services.
ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Obtain proper approvals of invoices prior to processing.
  • Enter vendor invoices accurately and timely into accounting system.
  • Prepare, review and process weekly payment run for approved vendor invoices
  • Professionally communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and address payment inquiries
  • Review and reconcile
  • Assess and apply use tax on purchases in compliance with applicable regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Experience: good knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting experience in addition to computer skills and good numerical
  • High degree of accuracy and has excellent data entry and oral communication
