Job Title: Financial Systems Manager (SAP S/4HANA)

Duration: 12 Months+

Location: Addison, IL

The Job at a Glance
We're looking for a Financial Systems Manager who lives at the intersection of Finance, Accounting, and Technology. This role is the go-to Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP S/4HANA and related finance systems, helping ensure everything runs smoothly, scales smartly, and actually makes people's jobs easier.

Own the Finance Systems

  • Serve as the SME for SAP S/4HANA Finance, including core accounting and related integrations.
  • Build deep expertise in system configuration, data flows, controls, and downstream impacts.
  • Advise Finance and Accounting teams on system capabilities, best practices, and smart ways to use SAP.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 13+ years of experience working with finance and accounting systems, with hands-on SAP experience (including Fiori)
  • Strong understanding of core finance and accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, close, reporting)
  • Experience leading or supporting system testing and UAT
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with IT and business partners

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, or major enhancements
  • Background in finance transformation or business systems roles
  • Understanding of system integrations, data flows, and internal controls
  • Exposure to Distribution, CPG, or related industries
