Accounting & HR Coordinator (AP/AR & Billing)

Established local company is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting & HR Coordinator to join our team.

This role is responsible for managing core accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll processing, and financial reporting support. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable handling multiple accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor invoices, customer payments, and reconciliations
  • Manage billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
  • Maintain and update the chart of accounts and post appropriate journal entries
  • Assist with preparation and review of P&L statements and other financial reports
  • Process employee payroll to include collecting and reviewing time data and calculating wages, salaries, taxes, bonuses, and deductions
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Work closely with management to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing
  • Solid understanding of general accounting principles and financial statements
  • Experience working with P&L statements and chart of accounts
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel (or similar tools)
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
