The Accounting Office Manager oversees all administrative, accounting, and clerical functions within the dealership office, ensuring accurate financial reporting, smooth deal processing, and full compliance with dealership and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise office/administrative staff, including title clerks and cashiers
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reporting for the General Manager and Controller
  • Ensure compliance with state DMV, titling, and registration requirements
  • Maintain accurate records within the dealership's DMS
  • Assist with month-end close processes and support annual audit preparation
  • Manage employee records, new-hire paperwork, and benefits administration coordination
  • Monitor cash handling procedures and daily bank deposits
  • Serve as a key point of contact between sales, finance (F&I), and accounting departments

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of office management or accounting experience in a dealership environment required
  • Strong working knowledge of dealership DMS platforms (Tekion, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar)
  • Familiarity with deal file compliance, titling/registration processes, and F&I paperwork flow
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting principles
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage and lead a small administrative team
  • Excellent communication skills across departments and management levels

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with Tekion
  • Prior Payroll Experience
  • Experience supporting multiple rooftops or a high-volume store
  • Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain)

Compensation:
$90,000–$120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
