Building Supply Sales & Project Coordinator – Drive Residential and Contractor Success from Estimate to Delivery


Job Overview

  • Mandatory Licences & Certifications: Knowledge of building material sales and product application.


The Opportunity

You will serve as the central hub for project success, bridging the gap between initial customer dreams and final material delivery. This multi-faceted role allows you to lead technical material takeoffs while building lasting relationships with both retail guests and professional contractors.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Execute detailed material takeoffs from blueprints to ensure project accuracy and profitability.
  • Coordinate phased material deliveries, including framing and forming packages, to keep project timelines on track.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle as the primary point of contact for contractors and outside sales teams.
  • Generate professional quotes and technical data entries within the ERP system to streamline the sales process.
  • Facilitate real-time problem solving for customers across diverse product lines from appliances to lumber.
  • Maintain a high-standard showroom environment that effectively showcases inventory and pricing to drive retail growth.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluency in English with the ability to communicate technical details clearly to vendors and clients.
  • Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs. with regularity.
  • Proven mathematical and reasoning skills necessary for complex quantity takeoffs and pricing.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specification documents.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Two-year Associate Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or Accounting.
