As Accounting Generalist, you’ll work closely with the Office Manager to support daily accounting operations, gain deeper exposure to dealership financials, and serve as a steady presence when leadership is not on-site. It’s a strong stepping stone for continued growth within automotive accounting.

Role Purpose

Assist the Office Manager with accurate paperwork, general ledger reconciliation, and daily accounting processes while helping ensure smooth office operations when upper management is unavailable.

What You’ll Do

  • Complete daily paperwork and prepare reports for senior management
  • Post daily sales deliveries in the DMS
  • Prepare daily DOC entries and maintain general ledger schedules
  • Complete weekly and monthly reconciliations for assigned accounts
  • Post and record funding notices for contracts in transit
  • Prepare assigned monthly reports, including those for FST meetings
  • Ensure all accounting policies and procedures are followed
  • Support additional office and accounting tasks as needed

  • 1–2 years of automotive accounting experience preferred
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge, including dealership systems and Excel
