Swoon is partnered with a well-established manufacturer of professional automotive equipment that is looking to add an Accounting Data Analyst to its growing finance team.
This is a hybrid opportunity that combines accounts payable, financial analysis, and data management. The ideal candidate enjoys working with numbers, improving processes, and ensuring financial data is accurate, organized, and actionable.
What You'll Do
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data across multiple systems
  • Analyze, clean, and organize financial datasets using advanced Excel tools
  • Support EDI transactions by monitoring data flows, troubleshooting issues, and validating information
  • Process invoices, reconcile vendor accounts, and manage payment activities
  • Identify opportunities to streamline AP and financial processes through data-driven improvements
  • Partner with internal teams including Finance, Operations, and Procurement on reporting and process initiatives
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, reconciliations, and budget reporting
  • Build reports that help drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency

What We're Looking For
  • 3-5 years of accounting or financial operations experience
  • Accounts Payable experience is strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and complex formulas
  • Experience working with ERP or accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience
  • Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial business environment
  • Experience working with EDI transactions or electronic data exchange processes
