Accounting Manager @ Roli Roti
(6-month Contract - Onsite)
We're looking for an Accounting Manager with CPG (food or beverage manufacturing) experience who enjoys being close to the product, the plant, and the people. This is a hands-on role with real influence. You will help own core accounting operations while partnering with the Controller to maintain financial reporting and support a growing consumer brand.
You'll sit at the intersection of manufacturing, inventory, trade spend, and financial reporting. This is an ideal opportunity for an Accounting Manager who wants to deepen their CPG expertise at a scaling company where you play a critical role in shaping how accounting supports a growing consumer brand. This role offers visibility and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
What you'll do
Own day-to-day CPG accounting
  • Help manage hands-on daily and monthly accounting, reconciliations, including month-end close
  • Maintain the general ledger, bank reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Assist in preparing accurate monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Manufacturing, inventory & margin focus
  • Assist with inventory accounting, including standard costing, variance analysis, and reconciliations between physical and financial inventory
  • Partner with operations and manufacturing to ensure accurate costing, yield, and waste reporting
  • Assist Controller with gross margin analysis by channel, product line, and customer
  • Partner closely with accounts receivable and payable, with attention to deductions, collections, and cash flow

Partner with leadership
  • Support the Controller in financial close, budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc analysis

Build scalable processes
  • Monitor and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Support ERP and system enhancements as the business grows in complexity and volume
  • Assist with tax, regulatory, and food manufacturing compliance requirements

Be a team player
  • Create cross-training and process documentation to ensure continuity and reliability
  • Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented accounting function

What we're looking for
  • Experience in CPG, food & beverage, or manufacturing accounting
  • Strong understanding of inventory, cost accounting, and gross margins
