A Day in the Life
The Accounting Analyst is responsible for maintaining the financials of the business and ensuring accurate and timely processing of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financials. This role will be responsible for working one on one with members of the accounting team to help the department support organization goals. This position also serves as a resource to the executive team to help maintain departmental budgets. Some travel may be required.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Collects and analyzes financial data for short- and long-range planning.
  • Enhance existing reports to improve accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly bank and GL account reconciliations.
  • Daily cash applications to AR journal entries.
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
  • Work with fellow accounting staff to help with overflow.
  • Prepare and/or review accounting records, financial statements, and reports to assess accuracy, completeness and compliance with standard operating practices.
  • Intercompany invoicing and reconciliation.
  • Assist in month end closing and review.
  • Assist in year-end audit by preparing all audit schedules and reports as requested by auditors.
  • Assist with additional third-party audits and other ad-hoc assignments.
  • Additional duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned by CAO, Treasurer or Controller.

Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field of study required.
  • 1-2 years accounting experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Excel required.
  • NetSuite or other accounting software experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well organized, detail oriented and able to handle fast paced work environment.
  • Strong work ethic.

Compensation Range
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $76,900-$87,500 annually.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Physical Requirements
This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting (approximately 95%), repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may require occasional standing, lifting, carrying of 20lbs or less, walking, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, and reaching above the shoulder. Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.
