Responsible for regional accounting and disclosures, ensuring data is accurate, compliant with GAAP and SOX controls, and delivered timely.
Knowledge & Application: Develops professional expertise, applies company policies & procedures to resolve a variety of issues.Determines a course of action based on guidelines & modifies processes & methods as required.
Complexity & Problem Solving: Works on problems of moderate scope, which are often varied & routine, where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.Applies learned techniques & contributes to analysis & investigation to solve problems.
Discretion & Impact: Exercises judgment within defined procedures & practices to determine appropriate action. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, and general instructions on new assignments
Collaboration and Interaction: Builds productive internal/external working relationships to resolve mutual problems by collaborating on procedures or transactions.Focuses on providing standard professional advice & creating initial reports/analyses for review by experienced team professionals.
Responsibilities
Non-Standard Deal Review
Month End Close
  • Prepares and post journal entries within a moderate scope
  • Performs flux analysis
  • Prepares reconciliations
  • Executes SOX controls
  • Prepares PBC (Provided/prepared by Client)

Disclosures and External Reporting
  • Responsible for preparing any additional regional disclosures needed for Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting

Management Reporting
  • Prepares month end management reporting

Business Partnering
  • Supports the partnership with upstream data owners, internal and external auditors, and Global Process Manager to solve a variety of accounting matters

Process Improvement
  • As needed, may participate in moderate project work

Technical Accounting
  • Has a developed understanding and applies general accounting principles when accounting for transactions
