Job description

Join Our Team as a Staff Accountant!

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for precision and a drive for continuous improvement? Do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? If so, we want YOU to help us drive our financial success!

The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to become a vital part of our Accounting Department in Falls Creek. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you wonโ€™ and just be crunching numbersโ€”you will be a key player in maintaining our financial integrity, supporting month-end closures, and ensuring our operations run like a well-oiled machine. From managing general ledger entries to navigating two different companies and two distinct ERP systems, your impact will be felt across the entire organization.

What Youโ€™ll Do (Your Impact)

Drive Accuracy: Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting, and recording accounting data.

Master the Ledger: Assist with general ledger maintenance by preparing and posting journal entries, and support month-end closing and account reconciliations.

Be the Backbone: Help serve as a backup for the Accounting Manager and other key accounting functions, ensuring the efficiency of financial operations.

Optimize Operations: Be involved in costing and inventory functions, manage fixed assets, and support the continuous improvement of accounting systems and procedures.

Collaborate & Innovate: Work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Sales, and Operations to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve workflows.

Ensure Compliance: Help maintain strict compliance with internal control policies and GAAP requirements.

What You Bring to the Table

Educational Foundation: An Associate or Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Proven Experience: 3-5 years of experience in general accounting, including 1-2 years specifically in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Technical Edge: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (you must be a pro with Pivot Tables and V-Lookups!).

Industry Insight: A background in Manufacturing is preferred.

The "Extra" Factor: Experience with Fixed Assets or Costing/Inventory functions is a major plus!

Soft Skills: You are highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and possess a high level of attention to detail. You are a professional communicator who excels at interacting with coworkers, customers, and business partners.

Why Join Us?

This is a full-time, exempt (salary) position located in Falls Creek. You will work in a professional, office-based environment where your ability to be flexible, adaptable, and a strong team player will be truly valued. If you are an analytical problem-solver looking to grow within a dynamic company, we want to hear from you!
