Bookkeeper/Accountant – On-Site in Downtown Dayton

A well-established historic organization in **downtown Dayton** is seeking a detail-oriented **Bookkeeper/Accountant** to manage day-to-day financial operations **in our office**. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a steady workflow, a professional environment, and being part of a mission-driven team.
**This is an on-site position only; remote work is not available.**

Responsibilities

· Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable

· Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports

· Process payroll and maintain employee records

· Track budgets, expenses, and grant-related financial activity

· Prepare documents for audits and board review

· Support leadership with financial data and analysis

Qualifications
