Account Representative/Account Manager
Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated Account Representative/Account Manager to support the growth of our restoration services business and build strong, lasting relationships with customers. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, identifying customer needs, and guiding opportunities from initial contact through closing.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with sales experience in a technical or commercial services environment and a customer-first approach.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within your assigned market.
  • Develop and follow up on leads for maintenance services and individual restoration projects.
  • Make outbound sales calls through phone, email, and in-person customer visits.
  • Identify customer needs and coordinate with internal teams to develop accurate and timely proposals.
  • Determine project scope and identify unique job requirements that may impact pricing and costs.
  • Work with leadership to establish pricing that supports company gross margin goals.
  • Present solutions and pricing to customers and successfully close sales.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term sales plans for your assigned market.
  • Monitor competitors, market trends, and sales strategies and communicate relevant information to leadership.
  • Track sales activity and provide regular activity reports.
  • Work collaboratively with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure quality customer service.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments within the restoration services industry.
  • Handle customer concerns and challenging situations professionally and tactfully.
  • Protect confidential customer, employee, vendor, and company information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
  • Associate degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience in a technical industry, preferably selling services to managers of Class A commercial buildings.
  • Experience in restoration services or a related industry is preferred.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and closing abilities.
  • Strong public relations and marketing skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Valid ability to travel to customer locations as needed.

Work Environment
This position works in both a climate-controlled office environment and at customer locations. Regular travel is required for sales calls and customer meetings.
