We are seeking an Account Supervisor who is curious, organized, collaborative, and excited to build campaigns that create real cultural impact.


This Account Supervisor will lead high-profile PR and marketing accounts that focus on connecting brands with multicultural media, public officials, and community-based organizations. Your responsibilities will include developing integrated campaign strategies, providing audience segment strategy and expertise, drafting press materials, guiding creative, conducting media and community outreach, leading influencer and partnership programs, coordinating and executing media events, overseeing day-to-day client needs/requests, collaborating with partner agencies, and managing a direct report (Account Executive level).


RESPONSIBILITIES
Client & Account Management

  • Lead an integrated cross-functional team for multiple client accounts.

  • Responsible for achieving a client’s strategic brand objectives and driving high impact campaigns.

  • Own the client relationship, establishing solid relationships with senior level clients. Hold ultimate accountability for the success of the IWG relationship with our clients.

  • Drive growth of the client relationship by exceeding client expectations, as well as identifying new opportunities to expand current scope of work.

  • Understand client challenges, their industry, and overall competitive landscape to define IW Group’s approach and strategy, articulate a plan of action, and guide successful implementation.

  • Provide multicultural strategic direction on campaign and press materials across in-language creative.

  • Build a high-performing team culture as the account leader for their clients, working in close partnership with Strategy, Creative, Production, Social, Operations, Media, and Innovation leads.

  • Knowledgeable of these functional roles with understanding of how to drive work across all disciplines.

  • Serve as a champion of bold thinking and innovative solutions that surprise and delight the client.

  • Differentiate our agency’s strengths and build strong relationships with clients, agency partners, vendors, and internal teams.

  • Active involvement in strategy reviews, creative reviews and all major presentation reviews, and key client meetings.


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Set clear objectives for team members, both for direct report and for internal teams.

  • Oversee workflow and monitoring productivity. Provide guidance and support through coaching.

  • Resolve issues within the team or on an individual basis offering constructive feedback as needed.

  • Foster knowledge-sharing across all disciplines to ensure collaborative and informed work.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s or vocational degree from a fully accredited college or university.

  • Minimum of 5 years professional work experience in an advertising or PR agency.

  • Minimum of 2 years in a client-facing managerial role or above.

  • Experience with multicultural and Asian American and Pacific Islander consumers.

  • Experience with regulated industries or state initiatives.

  • Experience leading integrated brand campaigns.

  • Proven experience growing business, finding new ways in, charting new pathways.

  • Ability to role model the agency’s vision and connect it to client’s goals.

  • Strong pulse on culture, diversity, community, traditional/digital/social media, and new communications innovations.
