Job description

Join Hilti as an Account Capture Project Manager and lead acquisition efforts on major projects. You'll define project scope, align budgets, and coordinate proposals that position Hilti for profitable, strategic wins.
What You'll do
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functionally between departments to align and manage tasks.
  • As necessary, conduct project coordination meetings to evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
  • Assist field sales team in contract negotiations with customers; assess risk and reach profitable agreements.
  • Review project specifications/drawings and contract terms and conditions to understand scope of work required; Align efforts with execution departments to ensure proper planning.
  • Where applicable, represent Hilti in customer's project meetings.
  • As required, ensure proper documentation of work throughout acquisition, including submittals (engineering/product), RFIs, correspondence, etc.
  • Assess/mitigate risk, especially as changes arise
  • Strong communication with project team, both internal and external
  • Additional duties, as assigned.
What You'll Bring
  • This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization or visa sponsorship (including initial, transfer, or extension), and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and remain authorized for the duration of employment without the need for sponsorship.
  • Bachelor's Degree, required
  • Emphasis in Civil or Structural Engineering or Construction Management
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in engineering, construction management, BIM, or related technical field, including:
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience as a Project Manager, preferred
  • Knowledge of construction methods, local building codes, and practices as they relate to Hilti products, required
  • Proven track record in project management, required
  • Full comprehension of entire project team (architect, engineers, PM's, superintendents, safety reps, purchasing, etc.) and how they interact together, required
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills; must be able to organize all projects, track successes, and bring these successes to the next project, required
  • Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills, required
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook), required
  • Experience using SAP, preferred
  • PMP or equivalent certification, preferred
