GreenWaste specializes in all aspects of material collection, processing, and sales, tailoring our service offerings to the unique needs of our customers and communities, and helping to shape the evolution of the solid waste and recycling industry. We work directly with 20+ municipalities and 50+ jurisdictions, operate highly regulated facilities in 10+ locations, and have 1,000+ employees.

We are seeking a successful Accounts Manager to join our team to assist our organization in providing a successful work environment where our employees can be safe, thrive and give their personal best each day. This position is expected to work out of our Sacramento location.

Position Summary:

GreenWaste is seeking to fill the position of Accounts Manager to provide support to one or more facilities.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Own full new-business development cycle, from prospecting through customer onboarding
  • Customer maintenance and relationship management for current customer book (post customer onboarding)
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and track results through CRM
  • Prepare and present pricing proposals, RFP responses, and service agreements
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, customer service, finance, etc.) to deliver on the customers’ expectations
  • Resolve customer escalations and client issues efficiently while maintaining strong customer satisfaction
  • LEED Letter Write ups, when needed.
  • Attend community outreach events that support sales pipeline and relationship management.
  • Client/Customer conflict resolution
  • Tour management, booking, driving, and presentation
  • Assist with customer credit applications
  • Assist with risk assessment for potential customers
  • Inbound and Outbound materials classification knowledge for all commodities
  • Cold Call Sales
  • Market Development/Sales Quote write-ups
  • Remain updated on latest waste management news.

Work Environment:
