We are looking to expand our Sales Team with the addition of a full-time Account Manager. Account Manager responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a robust portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, and serving as the primary point of contact for contract renewals and client retention. Account Managers liaise between clients and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs. The focus of this role will be on building relationships with existing accounts.
Note: This position requires working on-site at our NYC location in a hybrid capacity.
What You'll Do:
  • Act as the face of the business and initial contact for clients' questions or issues
  • Work with Senior Account Managers to enhance revenue retention and build relationships with clients - proactively identifying and taking measures to mitigate risk to ensure clients are satisfied and prepared to renew their contracts
  • Intimately understand your clients' contracts and track renewals (including mid-term adjustments) to ensure clients are seeing a return on their investment
  • Become a deeply engaged, strategic partner to ensure accounts are being retained
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Keep current clients satisfied and deliver exceptional client service daily
  • Help identify opportunities to grow and upsell current accounts
  • Engage in facetime with clients
  • Monitor and analyze clients' usage of our product
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
  • Liaise between the client and internal teams

Skills You'll Need:
  • 2 - 5 years of proven account management or other relevant experience
  • A passion for growing and maintaining existing client accounts
  • Knowledge of financial markets is a must! Knowledge of Options is a plus
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines, delivering on time while prioritizing among competing tasks
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with a keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM software (Sugar CRM preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or similar major
