Job description


SUMMARY
Supports the Account Executives in the day-to-day servicing of Energy & Marine related accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
Exhibits proven competence in all Assistant Account Manager duties and knowledge requirements;

Compiles renewal requests to the clients and completes marketing submissions as directed by the Account Executive;

Generates insurance proposals, summaries of insurance and policy schedules as needed;

Manages the renewal of non-oil and gas lines of coverage, crime bonds and miscellaneous coverages that do not renew with the majority of the account;

Discusses and resolves coverage issues for clients under the direction of the Account Executive;

Reviews quotes for accuracy, requests, reviews and processes binders;

Reviews carrier invoices for accuracy and processes any requests for financing;

Requests, calculates and processes Well Reports;

Sets up master certificate of insurance within Epic;

Processes and provides premium allocations;

Reviews and resolves any Accounts Receivables issues on a weekly basis with input from the Account Executive and/or Producer;

Works with clients and carriers on processing final audits;

Oversees and delegates work to the Assistant Account Manager and Account Representatives;

Collection of fees, reconciliation and resolution of any outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing date;

Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Six (6) or more years related work experience

Experience with oil and gas insurance a plus

Valid Insurance License

Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal

SKILLS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork

Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills

Good leadership, problem solving and time management skills

Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
