Who We’re Looking For
Based in Dallas and reporting to the Business Development Director, we are seeking a driven, and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to increase Batbox's baseball simulator partnerships across key markets. You’ll own the full sales cycle - from opening doors and building pipeline to selling the venue economics, navigating complex buying decisions, and closing new Batbox partnerships. Our partners span social entertainment venues, sports facilities, family entertainment centers, universities, hospitality groups, military installations, commercial real estate, and other high-traffic destinations.
This is a high-impact role for a driven, consultative seller who gets energized by creating demand, winning new business, and helping operators turn underutilized space into a differentiated, revenue-generating experience.
What You’ll Do
  • Build and grow a national pipeline of new Batbox partnerships across entertainment, sports, hospitality, commercial real estate, universities, military installations, and other high-traffic destinations.
  • Create your own opportunities through smart outbound prospecting, referrals, industry relationships, events, LinkedIn, email, and phone.
  • Own the full sales cycle - from first conversation and qualification through proposal, negotiation, contract, and initial payment.
  • Qualify the right partners by understanding the operator, venue, available space, customer traffic, investment capacity, timing, and growth potential.
  • Lead strong discovery conversations and uncover the business goals, economics, operational needs, and decision process behind each opportunity.
  • Build a compelling commercial case around revenue potential, ROI, space utilization, guest experience, and long-term value.
  • Present confidently to owners, executives, operators, investors, developers, and multi-location organizations.
  • Develop relationships with strategic operators, real estate groups, entertainment brands, sports organizations, and other partners that can expand Batbox into new markets.
  • Represent Batbox at industry events, trade shows, venue tours, and partner meetings as needed.
  • Navigate complex deals across finance, operations, real estate, design, construction, legal, and procurement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on floor plans, pricing, proposals, financial models, contracts, and implementation timelines.
  • Set every closed partnership up for success with a clean handoff into installation, onboarding, and launch.
  • Keep the pipeline moving with disciplined CRM management, accurate forecasting, clear next steps, and consistent follow-through.
  • Bring customer feedback and market insight back to the team to help sharpen our sales strategy and accelerate growth.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of full-cycle B2B sales, business development, partnerships, or franchise development experience.
  • A strong track record of meeting or exceeding quota and personally closing new business.
  • Proven ability to create your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and strategic account development.
  • Experience selling complex, high-consideration solutions that involve multiple stakeholders, financial justification, and a consultative sales process.
  • Strong discovery skills and the ability to turn customer needs into a clear commercial and operational case.
  • Confidence discussing ROI, revenue potential, payback, and business value with owners and executive decision-makers.
  • Experience building and presenting tailored proposals, business cases, and commercial recommendations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Good judgment around qualification, including knowing when a prospect, site, budget, or timeline is not ready.
  • A self-directed, accountable approach with the ability to manage multiple opportunities across a broad territory.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, early-stage environment where the category and sales process are still evolving.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot and disciplined pipeline management.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for client meetings, venue tours, trade shows, and industry events.
