The Client Service Associate (CSA) works alongside and supports the activities of our Client Service Executives and Producers in the marketing and sales process for new and renewing business. As a Client Service Associate, you will build on the foundational responsibilities of a Client Service Assistant, taking on additional duties that involve great responsibility and client interaction. You will serve as the primary service contact for clients and are expected to exemplify the highest standard of our service model.
WHAT YOU'LL DO (Essential Job Tasks)
As a Client Service Associate, you will:

Account Management
  • Act as the main servicer on some accounts, responsible for the entire renewal and/or marketing of the account
  • Independently review contracts for clients and provide notice to insured regarding deficiencies/changes and contact underwriters
  • Work directly with holders and insureds to educate on state requirements/limitations specific to the issuance of certificates of insurance
  • Handle more complex reconciliations under the direction of the Accounting department or manager
  • Create accurate premium allocations and invoices as required.

New & Renewal Accounts
  • Prepare and maintain proposals for new and renewal accounts
  • Attend meetings with Executives and Producers, and present independently to insureds or assigned accounts
  • Research and communicate directly with brokers and underwriters to create top-of-stack submissions
  • Negotiate renewal and new business terms, conditions, and premiums on assigned accounts
  • Bind coverage on behalf of the insured

Mentorship & Development
  • Participate in 1:1 mentorship with new team assistants
  • Work with the Training & Development team to teach a course on an insurance coverage, endorsement, SSP procedure, or Best Practice annually
  • Obtain or work towards obtaining designations as instructed by your manager
  • Attend all offered continuing education (CE) courses

Position Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Active Property & Casualty Agent's License
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in the insurance industry
  • Experience in managing client accounts and conducting renewals
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities
