Account Associate

Start: Once cleared onboarding process

Pay Rate: $20-22/hour

Schedule: First shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Location: Minneapolis, MN - On Site

Duration: 6-12 Month Contract to Hire


Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Associate to support mortgage document custody operations and client relationship management. This role will serve as a key point of contact for external clients and internal partners, ensuring accurate reporting, file review, and account administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients via phone and email
  • Support Relationship Managers with client account management and issue resolution
  • Generate and analyze reports using Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
  • Review mortgage and collateral files to ensure compliance before storage
  • Handle account setup, maintenance, and documentation in accordance with policies
  • Research and resolve client inquiries and discrepancies
  • Prepare certifications, trust receipts, and sensitive correspondence
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
  • Assist with ongoing projects and process improvements

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services or professional customer service (or bachelor’s degree in lieu of experience)
  • At least 6 months of experience using Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables required)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the mortgage industry or working with mortgage documents
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and account management processes

Pay and Benefits
