Job description

Job Details:

Pay: $16.90Job Description:
  • Applicants will be considered for any power jack start type opening on shift posted.
  • Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required.
  • Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees.
  • Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion.
  • Some positions require lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40+ lbs.
  • Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70+ lbs.
  • Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment.
  • Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc.
Requirements:
  • Must have 3-Months operator experience listed on the application (Can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 3 months).
  • Needs to be able to label, organize and align pallets in cooler.
  • Is required to become certified in both pallet jack and forklift operation.
  • Applicants must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for a visit to the facility.
  • Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there's a 180-day waiting period before you can reapply.
  • Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire.
  • The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
