Job Summary
As a Dietary Aide at Accolade Healthcare, you will be a key member of the culinary team, responsible for serving food to residents, visitors, and employees in a friendly, professional manner, while providing outstanding customer service. In addition, works with other team members to prep foods, deliver to resident rooms and resident dining, wash dishes, and clean kitchens.
Pay Rate: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
As a Dietary Aide, your responsibilities include:
  • Prepare tray line with napkins, wrapped silverware, trays, lids for plates, placemats.
  • Complete food prep for tray line and cooler.
  • Puree food as needed.
  • Place food and beverage items on trays according to meal requests or physicians' orders.
  • Stock carts with ice water and iced tea for lunch.
  • Load and deliver cards to various areas of the Facility, including individual resident rooms and group dining rooms
  • Complete food prep for the next day.
  • Serve lunch on tray line.
  • Check dates and rotate stock as required by facility policy
  • Clear tables and sanitize tables and tabletop items.
  • Empty carts and take out trash.
  • Wipe inside and outside and fronts of carts with sanitizer solution.
  • Clean coffee pots and other kitchen equipment.
  • Clean up kitchen and wash dishes.
  • Prepare kitchen and dining rooms for the next meal.
  • Answer kitchen phone as needed.
  • Perform other related work as required or requested.

Requirements:
To excel as a Dietary Aide, you will need:
  • High school diploma or the equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work with and serve a variety of people is required.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team are required.
  • Reliability is required.
  • Must be able to work a weekend and holiday rotation.
  • Food Handlers Certification is/will be required
