Job Summary

As a Receptionist at Accolade Healthcare, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and guests, representing the organization with professionalism and warmth. Your primary responsibilities include managing the front office, greeting visitors, answering and directing calls, and performing various administrative tasks to support the facility's operations.

Pay Rate/Shift Type

Pay Rate: $15-$19 per hour

Full Time - 30-40 hours a week- Days, nights and weekends

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Receptionist, your responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and welcoming guests as they arrive at the facility.

  • Directing visitors to the appropriate person and location.

  • Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls.

  • Ensuring the reception area is tidy and presentable, with necessary materials such as pens, forms, and brochures.

  • Providing basic and accurate information in-person and via phone or email.

  • Receiving, sorting, and distributing daily mail and deliveries.

  • Maintaining office security by following safety procedures, controlling access via the reception desk, monitoring the logbook, and issuing visitor badges.

  • Performing clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing.

  • Maintaining weekend availability for work assignments.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed as a Receptionist, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED certificate (preferred).

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with visitors, residents, and staff.

  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
