Job description

Summary

  • Responsible for the conversion from event to event. Work involves, but not limited to, moving equipment, setting up equipment such as stages, basketball floor, hockey dasher walls and some forklift operation.
  • Responsible for ensuring equipment is set up according to manufacturer guidelines and Company policy.
  • Ability to adhere and abide by all accesso Brookshire's Grocery Arena, ASM Global Policies and Procedures.
  • Ability to be able to follow written and verbal directions.


Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs or more on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to stand, walk and bend on a continuous basis.
  • Must be able to work well in teams and individually.
  • Must be able to communicate, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays in addition to normal business hours.
  • Shifts varies
  • Must be able to work in a manner that is safe and effective.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties required of this position, including operation of cleaning equipment; lift, set and move equipment, including all tables, chairs, easels, risers, staging and related items.
  • Ability to operate two-way radio equipment.
  • This position requires the ability to interact with all types of people.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers, customers, vendors, and visitors to the facility.
  • This position requires the ability to respond politely to all individuals and work well as a team player.
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include day, evening, weekends, and holidays.
  • This position requires lifting at least 50lbs.without assistance for 40% of the workday
  • Ability to work through the facility and at various events including: sitting, standing walking, lifting, reaching, stooping, kneeling and/or crouching, pulling and pushing.

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • This position will require the applicant to pass a background check.
