Job description

This position is located at Department of Housing and Urban Development, Assistant Secretary for Public and Indian Housing.

Qualifications:

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience for the GS-14, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
This experience is defined as: Developing IT solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (i.e., PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI), VBA, Relational Databases (preferably Oracle), ETL, SQL, PL/SQL, and analyzing data to answer critical policy and business questions using data management tools and techniques.Examples of such experience could include:

-Developing data-driven analytical reports and presenting that data to management; OR
- Addressing data anomalies, modelling and analyzing large volumes of financial and programmatic data, and applying analytical and problem solving techniques to identify trends and issues, develop solutions, and make forecasts; OR
-Designing business systems and processes, using modern technologies (i.e., Microsoft Power Platform, Relational Databases, Access, VBA, Excel, Python) and techniques, to manage data and produce value-added programmatic insight.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
