Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Point Coordinator in East Point, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional, welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
  • Monitor and control access at designated entry points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and maintain required access logs and records.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and help deter policy violations.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel, drivers, and management while reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and unusual activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
