You must have solid time on the job work experience, valid driver’s license, transportation and able to pass a 10-year background check through the airport credentialing process and able to pass a drug screen.

Job Description

This Position is responsible for the functional completion of projects. The Access Control Foreman will oversee all technicians and materials assigned to their project, including task assignments, technician training, and quality control. The Foreman will also be responsible for ensuring company/industry standards for Installation and Quality Control meet expectations. This person will also be responsible for completion of projects in a timely and efficient manner. The Foreman must always possess the ability to interact with Customers and End Users in a professional and courteous manner

Responsibilities

  • Dressing and terminating access control panels.
  • Terminating and installing end devices such as prox readers, motion detectors, maglocks, door strikes, and power supplies.
  • Installing/testing/troubleshooting IP cameras and camera software.
  • Provide training and answer questions customer may have

Skills and Abilities

  • Current industry and technical knowledge in Access Control, Intrusion, CCTV
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with systems
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge in access controllers
  • Must have your own hand tools
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in access control
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, be able to climb ladders up to 20 feet tall and be able to work in small spaces or closets. The employee is frequently required to stand, climb or balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Must be available to travel

Benefits after 90 day interim: Sick Leave & Insurance after 1 year 2 weeks paid vacation

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
