Sr. Manager, Identity & Access Management

The Sr. Manager, Identity & Access Management is responsible for leading an organization that defines strategy, target state architecture, standards, roadmaps, and prioritized delivery plans for Identity and Access Management. This role translates business, security, operational, and compliance needs into actionable capability plans across areas such as identity governance and administration, privileged access management, authentication, directory services, workflows, automations, and system integrations.

The position leads design and build activities for IAM tools and services, including technology selection input, integration approaches, capital project execution, solution documentation, training, and operational readiness criteria. This leader partners closely with Run organizations to transition ownership effectively once systems reach steady-state deployment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Strategy, Roadmap, and Prioritization: Define IAM strategy, target state architecture, standards, and multi-year roadmaps; prioritize capabilities based on business value, security risk, compliance obligations, operational needs, and enterprise technology direction.
  • Capability Translation: Translate business, security, and compliance needs into prioritized IAM capabilities, including identity governance and administration, privileged access management, authentication, directory services, role-based access control, logging, monitoring, workflows, automations, and system integrations.
  • Solution and Tool Design: Lead IAM solution design, including tool design, technology patterns, integration approaches across applications and platforms, control alignment, scalability, supportability, and operational readiness expectations.
  • Solution Build and Project Delivery: Lead IAM solution build activities through capital project execution, including delivery of workflows, automations, system integrations, implementation plans, and measurable project outcomes.
  • Program Leadership, Policies, and Standards: Serve as program lead for IAM; define, maintain, and align policies, standards, and implementation requirements that support security, compliance, and enterprise objectives.
  • Solution Documentation and Training: Ensure solution documentation, architecture artifacts, implementation guides, training materials, and knowledge transfer deliverables are developed and maintained for designed and built capabilities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Technology, Science, Business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in related field/sector, including 7 years experience managing a complex function, team, or program.
  • Demonstrated verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand complex technical and/or business information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across organization boundaries and influence others.
  • Ability to define and manage multiple internal projects and milestones.
  • Ability to both lead and partner in a cross functional team environment.
  • Strong investigative, analysis, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Requirements

  • Preferred candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working in Identity and Access Management solution design and delivery.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $129,000.00 to $183,200.00 per year
