Who you are:
We are seeking a Software Developer - Subject Matter Expert (SME) who will serve as the principal authority for enterprise software architecture, development standards, application modernization, and secure software delivery across complex environments. This role involves leading the design, development, testing, and enhancement of enterprise applications while establishing architectural frameworks, best practices, and modernization strategies. The position combines strategic technical leadership with hands-on engineering expertise to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with enterprise objectives, zero-trust principles, and interoperability requirements.
What you do:
  • Lead the design and development of enterprise-scale software solutions.
  • Establish architectural frameworks and development best practices.
  • Modernize and enhance existing applications to align with enterprise objectives.
  • Ensure secure software delivery across complex environments.
  • Implement application security and secure coding practices.
  • Drive DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control systems.
  • Lead technical initiatives and establish enterprise development standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address interoperability requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.

What you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-scale software solutions.
  • Expertise in modern programming languages, software design patterns, and application architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of application security, secure coding practices, and software quality assurance.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control systems.
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and establish enterprise development standards.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.

Nice to have:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
