100% remote MUST HAVE EXP MANAGING LARGE SCALE END OF LIFE PROJECTS AT A FINANCIAL ORGANIZATION Job Description: As a member of the Sustainability Management Action & Response Team (SMART) you will be responsible for executing operational sustainability projects that typically involve the remediation of End of Life (EOL) IT (Information Technology) Infrastructure (HW/SW); Vulnerability Remediation; Compliance; Modernization; and Process Improvements. Responsibilities: • Manage large scale end of life projects. (ie. End of Life for an applications. What extended support is needed? Remediate teams) Own the Project Management and clear any road blocks) • Conduct application architecture assessments and help define solutions for complex problems. • Design/customize and execute migration workflows. • Maintain focus on project risks and interdependencies across the life cycle, making contingency plans to proactively address concerns that pose risk to budget, schedule, and scope. • Engage cross-functional stakeholders across multiple business units and application areas for problem solving, short-and long-term technology solutions, and risk mitigation activities. • Drive results and resolve issues including the ability to assess and course correct, as necessary. • Display strong organizational skills with diligence evidenced through sound analytical skills. • Display strong initiative, addressing issues without prompting. • Assist in preparing presentations and presents to leadership and stakeholders. • Ability to work across organizations and through obstacles. Qualifications: • 10+ years' experience in managing multiple medium-to-large scale IT Infrastructure and/or Application projects / programs collaborating with cross functional teams in the financial services industry. • Persuasive communication and interpersonal skills; good consensus builder • Outstanding collaborative skills and ability to interface across organizational levels and cultures. • Ability to develop and leverage relationships. • Strong drive for results; able to meet tight deadlines in a fluid, challenging environment. • Capable of executing short-term (tactical) and long term (strategic) plans • Excellent customer focus, with experience effectively managing matrix relationships. • Skill at resolving conflict and negotiating effectively and tactfully. • Proven history of time-management, leadership, and people skills • Ability to multi-task and comfortable working with ambiguity at times • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certifications is a plus.
