Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Busser to join our team at Jordan Pond House. The ideal candidate will have experience in bussing tables, clearing plates and glasses, and maintaining a clean, organized dining area. You will play a key role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests by providing high-quality service, assisting servers, and maintaining a hygienic environment in a fast-paced setting. At Jordan Pond House, you’ll be part of a passionate team committed to providing an exceptional guest experience in one of Maine’s most iconic locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bussing tables by clearing plates, glasses, and silverware in a timely manner to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Assisting servers by resetting tables quickly and efficiently for new guests.
  • Providing high-quality service by assisting guests with their needs, such as refilling water glasses or addressing other requests as directed by the servers.
  • Handling food and beverages in a safe and hygienic manner, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Maintaining organization and cleanliness in dining areas, including clearing debris from floors and assisting with trash removal.
  • Helping maintain an efficient flow of the restaurant by working with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Supporting other front-of-house staff as needed, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in bussing tables or providing high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
