Job description

Preferred Freezer Services is hiring a Cold Storage Automation Tech at our Elizabeth, NJ deep-freeze facility. You will maintain automated crane AS/RS systems operating in -10°F environments, service pallet conveyor lines, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems. Cold-weather gear and heated break rooms are provided.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of automated equipment maintenance experience
  • Willingness to work in extreme cold environments (-10°F to -20°F)
  • PLC troubleshooting skills (Siemens or Allen-Bradley)
  • Crane and hoist maintenance experience preferred
  • Refrigeration system awareness (ammonia safety training provided)
