Job Description Summary
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:
The Office of the Registrar supports the academic mission of Shawnee State University by maintaining student academic records and providing services related to registration, graduation, enrollment and degree verification, and academic record administration. The office works closely with students, faculty, and staff to ensure accurate and timely processing of academic information and to support the University's academic operations.
POSITION SUMMARY, ROUTINE TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Basic Function- To assist the Office of the Registrar with daily administrative operations and provide support to office staff.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining departmental files (filing, sorting, scanning)
• Operate computer and office equipment (copier, scanner, etc.)
• Assist with errands and special projects.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Registrar's Office staff.
Required Knowledge/Skills
  • Data entry, filing, scanning, and records management.
  • Typing proficiency.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including copiers, scanners, and printers.
  • Additional Requirements

  • Dependable.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Record keeping, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Working Conditions

  • Normal office environment
  • Flexible work schedule of up to 10 hours per week
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving of boxes and office supplies (up to 25 pounds).
