Position Overview:
The Parts Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Parts Department by receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, and shipping inventory while ensuring accurate inventory control and timely order fulfillment. This role also serves as a delivery driver, transporting parts and materials to local customers and company locations using an ABC company vehicle.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, customer-focused, and safety-conscious, with the ability to balance warehouse responsibilities and local deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations
  • Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Store, organize, and maintain inventory to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through inventory management systems and data entry.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Process returned materials and restock inventory following established procedures.
Shipping amp; Receiving
  • Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Verify shipment accuracy before loading and dispatch.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments with freight carriers and shipping providers.
  • Document incoming and outgoing shipments, including transport information and inventory transactions.
  • Resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged shipments, and shortages with vendors and carriers.
Delivery Operations
  • Safely operate an ABC company delivery vehicle to complete local customer deliveries and vendor pickups.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload parts in accordance with company safety procedures.
  • Deliver parts accurately and on schedule while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Maintain delivery documentation and obtain required signatures or proof of delivery.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and operate company vehicles in accordance with all applicable traffic laws and company policies.
Customer Service amp; Department Support
  • Fulfill customer and internal parts requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist customers by locating requested parts and communicating order status.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, Parts Specialists, and other departments to support daily operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment.
Compliance amp; Safety
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company regulations.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment, if certified.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory control, logistics, or parts operations preferred.
  • Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
  • Forklift operating experience preferred; forklift certification is a plus.
  • Experience using inventory management or ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
