Our team in downtown Redwood City, California is currently seeking individuals with the desire to be a part of building the most innovative audio and visual systems the world has yet to see. We are the market leaders in the premium audio category and are used by musicians and producers in the best studios in the world, from Abbey Road to Skywalker Studios. With the combination of EVA's startup culture including fast paced technological innovations, along with the audio heritage of Bowers & Wilkins, we are creating a fantastic home A/V experience for all to use and enjoy the products we love.
The Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for the overall planning and execution of complex development programs from concept through production ramp-up. In addition, will work closely with the Head of Product Portfolio Management in the sizing of new product concepts. The position will report to the SVP, GM of our Headphone business.
The ideal candidate is proactive, methodical and process-oriented while having considerable experience working within a distributed JDM product development model and have a high degree of product ownership. He / She will work with Product Management, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to ensure overall coordination and execution of project deliverables and schedules. This position involves regular communication with executive management on status, risks and product strategy. Excellent listening, writing skills and strong technical competency are essential.
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Cross-functional project team leader responsible for developing overall program plan and driving execution to deliver on approved scope, schedule, cost and quality objectives
  • Oversee and be accountable for JDM's schedule and status of related activities
  • Collaborate with team members, functional managers and other key stakeholders to secure commitments and to optimize schedule and resource utilization
  • Prepare and present bi-weekly program status to management communicating progress on deliverables, schedule, cost, risks and key technical issues
  • Lead and motivate project teams to execute all deliverables on time and without sacrificing required product attributes and quality.
  • Work closely with functional managers to resolve resource conflicts or gaps and to facilitate issue resolution when needed.
  • Escalate critical program issues and project roadblocks, as necessary, and in a timely manner.
  • Analyze program risk and develop risk mitigation or contingency plans by working with appropriate subject matter experts and managers
  • Drive portfolio level project sizing of new product concepts / solutions, and technology block projects
  • Be an ambassador to the development process and conduct lessons-learned reviews for continuous improvement action
  • Contribute to continuous improvement on processes, tools, and metrics, proactively initiating changes when needed to ensure effectiveness. Maintain a focus on quality, predictability, scalability, repeatability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
  • 7+ years of broad Program/Project Management experience delivering technology products / solutions that involve both Hardware and Software
  • Demonstrated ability to drive numerous programs simultaneously working with external partners
  • Excellent judgment, seasoned analytical skills, superior oral and written communication skills and an infectious can-do approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and be effective in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate ability to consistently deliver results
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications, including MS Project
