Job Description

We are always looking for talented, self-motivated individuals to join our team at McDonald Chevrolet. Currently, we are seeking an enthusiastic self-starter to fill the role of Automotive Sales Consultant. A qualified individual will be expected to interact and consult with customers to guide them through their vehicle purchase. Your goal is to create the best vehicle-buying experience to make lifelong customers. You will assist customers in selecting the right vehicle for their lifestyle. You will be trained on the specific products we offer and their benefit to our customer. No experience necessary! If you 

Responsibilities:

  • Spend time with customers to determine their needs and discusses vehicle options
  • Commit to becoming an auto sales expert and gain in-depth knowledge of vehicle inventory and technology
  • Facilitate customer test drives to demonstrate industry leading features
  • Complete quotes and explain financing options
  • Ensure timely follow up with prospective customers
  • Follow up with all existing customers to confirm their satisfaction, maintain strong relationships and generate leads
  • Present vehicle attributes, model options, features, purchase and finance options and store policies and services to customers.
  • Keep abreast of new products, features and accessories. Attend product and training courses.
  • Prepare vehicles for customer pickup.
  • Ensure customers understand the vehicle's operating features and warranty

Requirements:

  • Strong work ethic and a competitive spirit, with a desire to learn and be successful
  • Outgoing personality with a desire to service others
  • Ability to formulate a professional email, text, and digital correspondence
  • Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to ask for the sale and follow through to close
  • Valid driver's license
