About the Role:
Sinergix Testing LLC is looking for a skilled TAB Technician to join our growing team in Raleigh, NC. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse systems, ensuring optimal performance through precise testing, adjusting, and balancing. If you're passionate about air and hydronic systems and take pride in delivering quality results, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  • Perform testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of air and hydronic systems on commercial and industrial projects
  • Measure and document airflow, static pressure, temperature, and other system parameters
  • Calibrate and operate TAB instruments including pitot tubes, manometers, anemometers, and flow hoods
  • Identify system deficiencies and communicate findings to project engineers and contractors
  • Prepare detailed TAB reports in accordance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, or AABC standards
  • Coordinate with mechanical contractors, engineers, and building owners to ensure system compliance
  • Perform commissioning support and troubleshoot HVAC system performance issues
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in TAB, and mechanical systems testing
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE, NEBB, and/or AABC testing and balancing standards
  • Proficiency with TAB instrumentation and data collection tools
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • NEBB or AABC certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
