Job description

Anthony Petrozzella - State Farm Agency, located in Rosedale, NY is currently looking for a talented, caring, professional to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. This is a position for a well-established State Farm Agent.

If you have a talent for customer care and understand the needs and motivations of people, we want you on our team! As our Customer Service Representative, youll work to inspire customer loyalty and significantly enhance the overall State Farm Insurance customer experience.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options

You will receive:
  • Base Salary plus Bonus and Commissions based on licensing and experience
  • Paid Time Off - for personal time and vacation
  • Health/Dental available after 90 days of employment
  • A portion of Health insurance up to 70% paid by the company or stipend
  • Retirement available with 3% match after 1 year of service during the next available open enrollment period

Requirements:
  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Candidates with Series 6 & 63, life insurance license a plus!
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • Self-motivated
  • Detail oriented
  • Proactive in problem solving
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews
  • Ability to effectively relate to a customer
  • Property Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
  • Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
